Aspendos, Antalya, Turkey (Part 2)

Hari ni plan nak ke Aspendos Archeological Sites. mula2 nak ambik tour trip. dalam 115lira tapi cover Perge sekali n waterfall. tapi tour ejen tu kata tak de yg nak join tour trip hari yg aku nk pi. so aku decide pi sendiri. jgn bg prob tu, membatalkan niat nak ke Aspendos.

 

 

 

 

Dari Ismetpasa naek tram modern. kat sini ada 2 jenis tram; old n modern. sebelum tu kena ada kad. macam istanbulkart jugaklah. beli je kat pondok tram warna putih tu. dalam 5 lira: kad cuma 2 lira yg lagi 3 lira tu balance dlm kad. naek tram dr Ismetpasa n stop kat otogar (bus terminal).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ada dua terminal. satu local bus dalam antalya. satu lagi luar Antalya spt Pamukalle ke istanbul ke amik bas kat terminal ni. Disebabkan nak pi dalam Antalya je, so pi kat Ilceler Terminal. bas2 kat blkg terminal ni. Nak ke Aspendos naek minibus ke Serik Otogar. dalam 7 lira dalam masa 1-1.5 jam jgk lah.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

tengok dalam minibus ni merah menyala. heeee. jiwang drebar ni aku rasa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

sampai di Serik, bas akan stop kira paling akhir hentian sebelum bergerak semula ke Antalya Otogar. kecik je hentian nye macam gambar sebelah ni yang ramai orang duduk tu. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

dari sini, tunggu bas ke Aspendos No:10, ada tulis Aspendos. nak ke Perge pun ada bas nye. tapi no lain la. tambang 2 lira je dalam 30-40 minit gitu. bas akan stop betul2 luar Theatre Aspendos.

Fee entrance dalam 20 lira.

Besar jugak Aspendos site ni.














Meh baca sikit pasal Aspendos;

• The ancient city of Aspendos (modern city of Belkis, ancient city of Pamphylia) is located on Turkey's southern Mediterranean coast forty-seven kilometers from the modern city of Antalya.
• Existence from the 5th century B.C. and was built during the reign of Marcus Aurelius (2nd century B.C.) by a renowned architect known by the name of Zenon. A parallel historical account shows that the city was actually built in the 13th century B.C. by Mopsus. However by the 6th century it came under Lydian rule but was soon conquered by the Persian king Cyrus. Two centuries later Alexander the Great occupied this city but later with the Romans rising in power, Aspendos became inclined to Rome.

Masuk Theatre dulu lah. Sites ni just opened on the last 2-3 days. so aku kira bertuah lah. heee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is the best of this Theatre;

• Its spectacularly well-preserved theatre is one of the best examples of Roman theatre construction in the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Banyak jugak yang belum siap. hanya satu side yang dalam jaring merah tu je dibuka untuk orang ramai.

Kemudian, gerak ke luar pulak. perghh beso siut. ponek. dah lah panas. wajib pakai kasut sport tu, tak pun yang sesuai untuk hiking. yg ada heels, toksah pakai.

How to Get to Aspendos from Antalya Otogar:

1. from Antalya city center, go to Otogar of Antalya (Terminal Bus). if using Modern Tram from city center, stop at Otogar then go outside from Tram. There are 2 terminal in Otogar, go to Ilceler Terminal.
2. the local bus is at the back of Ilceler Terminal. Take bus to Serik for 7 lira and the bus will stop at last point in Serik around 1 hour-1.30 hours depends on the traffic.
3. At Serik, Take local bus No:10 for 2 lira around 30 minutes and the bus will stop just at outside of Theatre of Aspendos. Fee entrance is 20 lira. 
4. to get back to Antalya center, just do reverse. take bus at outside Theatre to get back to Serik.
